For Years, The Serpent has been bringing it's own unique perspective of IT to the world. But a team purely dedicated to the geek lifestyle is no fun at all, so this section of the site serves only one purpose - to shed some light on what geeks get up to when they're not playing Counter Strike or wading through source code, enjoy...
Brand spanking new Warped Views!
I'm hoping you've already noticed (unless you've never been here before!) that this whole section has been revamped to bring us in line with late 1990's coding standards. Yes I know it's 2009 but AJAX is over rated and I don't get much time these days ;) Hey, at least we don't support Netscape anymore!
Graspop 2009 Metal Meeting
Graspop was an awesome festival, except for the baking heat - We got to see the bands we wanted, (marilyn Manson was a little disapointing!), and we got plent of foreign beer in us. I'd highy recommend European festivals to anyone that's done all the UK ones, they certainly are a lot more friendly, though certainly a little more expensive :(

Ring Of Fire - Serpent Style!
At last, a place on the net for our official rules of Ring Of Fire... A game enjoyed by many, this drinking game certainly made it's way into our circle of drinking buddies... so enjoy, and remember kids... always drink responsibly.
The Serpent LAN's
We're very fortunate to have a member of our group who's been putting on LAN's since the dawn of MMX technology. Since then it's become a tradition to get together and LAN it out in true
nerd style! Common games include Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Battle for Middle Earth and tonnes more, some of the girls even make it there too ;)
Rainbow - Gone wrong
Rainbow was once, and always will remain a respected, fun for all, yet educationally useful TV series. It's no longer on the air,
however it has not been forgotten! As children you never questioned it, yet now we are older, was there something more sinister going
on? What possibly could a yellow thing with a zip for a mouth, a gay horse like thing with eye lashes called George, and a big furry
monster called Bungle be getting up to? We found the answer here...
What's On...
The morning after Graspop festival was mostly calm, but a more European finish to a good festival is to burn your tent, not carry it ;)
Quotes to live by?
Do you find yourself constantly quoting TV? We do, we love anything Family Guy, South Park, (old!) Simpsons, and of course, no geek would be complete without a love for Star Wars, Star Trek, and Futurama :)

The Serpent 8Ball
This old bit of code has been with us for just too long to throw away, so why not give it a try, it's got a mind of it's own...
