VMware player is now easier to use then ever. This quick guide introduces the simplicity of VMware Player 4 on Windows 7. It allows you to run virtual machines on to of your existing operating system, perfect for testing new OS's, or creating your own lab/experiments.

Having moved to Windows 7 64-bit and also having a large Matroska media collection, I went on a quest to find the best codec pack. This guide explains my findings on using a pack that supported both Media Center and Media Player, across 32-bit and 64-bit applications, while provided as many features as possible.
