Since Windows can come with absolutely tonnes of software, we thought it may be best to cover some of the more popular software packages out there, we're not loaded - so forgive us if most of it seems like trail versions or freebies, but hopefully you'll learn something :)

XAMPP is a tool which combines the install and management of Apache, PHP, MySQL, FileZilla Server and Mercury Transport Server. It's a great time saver, if you're getting into website development, this is the tool to help you configure your envrionment on Windows, Linux, MAC or Solaris.
